Business Development Executive
Job Description
A Business development executive is responsible for generating leads and sales from assigned area. He/She will visit existing as well as new clients - like stockists, distributors & dealers to get new orders of previous products/services & introducing new products/services with schemes if any added by company. Also he/she will assure timely release of payment from clients.
A business development executive must be soft spoken, cool n calm minded and hardworking to contribute to the growth of any company. Business development executives are responsible for visiting and encouraging clients to purchase added products or services offered by company as per their minimum assigned target as well as maximum for their career and financial growth.
A business development executive must be aware of competitive products and companies and their offers for clients, if they target the same clients, you are dealing with, he/she must be able to speak about how their products and services are better than the others offerings.
Responsibilities:
Good knowledge of all products and services offered by company.
Must attend all trainings provided by company
Search new clients through direct / indirect contacts, references and collaboration with the marketing team including social media/toll free.
Visiting existing clients to check their current stock and encourage them to release new purchase orders.
Take notes of newly launched competitive products and offerings before client opt for them.
Attending / organizing area wise activities with marketing team to research and connect with clients.
Convincing for newly added products or services that might be of beneficial for clients.
Engaged negotiation with clients to get the purchase orders..
Promote products with word of mouth from one client to another and provide support to clients in case of complaint.
Take care of reputation of company and products/services before any personal favour
Reporting to Area Business Manager/ Regional Sales Manager/ National Sales Manager
Eligibility:
Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of business administration whereas BBA, MBA in marketing are preferred..
Freshers to Extensive sales experience depending on Area / territory .
Appearance - must be a formal professional.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language and english.
Must have IT skills to work with softwares like MS office/ERP/SAP etc
